IPL 2024: Full List of Awards

The 2024 IPL season concluded with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerging victorious over the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a decisive final match, clinching their third IPL title by eight wickets in what turned out to be a one-sided contest.

A Dominant Performance by KKR

After losing the toss, KKR showcased a clinical bowling performance that dismantled the SRH batting lineup. SRH managed to score only 113 runs, the lowest total ever recorded in an IPL final. Mitchell Starc, Andre Russell, and Harshit Rana were the standout bowlers, taking crucial wickets and maintaining tight control over the run rate. Starc took 2/14, Russell grabbed 3/19, and Rana chipped in with 2/24.

Chasing a modest target of 114, KKR’s batsmen made short work of the SRH bowlers. Venkatesh Iyer led the charge with an unbeaten 52 off just 26 balls. KKR reached the target in just 10.3 overs, with 57 balls to spare, sealing an emphatic victory.
