David Warner (61 fifties)

This explosive Australian opener, who has represented Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), leads the pack with a whopping 61 fifties! He’s a run machine, amassing 6,397 runs at an average of 41.53 in 176 innings and striking fear into bowlers’ hearts. He’s the highest run-getter among overseas players, and third-highest overall.

 

Virat Kohli & Shikhar Dhawan (50 fifties each)

The Indian batting duo, Kohli and Dhawan, are tied for second place with 50 fifties each. Kohli, the RCB legend, is the first to cross 7,000 IPL runs and has smashed 7263 runs in 229 innings at an average of 37.24 with 6 centuries! Dhawan, known for his elegant strokeplay, scoring 6617 runs in 217 innings at an average of 35.38 and strike rate of 127.17.

 

Rohit Sharma (42 fifties)

The former Mumbai Indians captain, Rohit Sharma, brings experience and class to the crease. With 42 fifties and 6,211 runs in 243 innings at an average of 29.57, he’s been instrumental in leading his team to 5 IPL titles!

 

AB de Villiers (40 fifties)

The South African legend, AB de Villiers, is the second overseas player on this list. Known for his incredible range of shots, the Proteas player has scored 5162 runs in 170 innings with an impressive strike rate of 151.68.

 

Suresh Raina (39 fifties)

The original “Mr. IPL”! Though retired, his 5528 runs including 39 fifties in 200 innings at an average of 32.51 are a testament to his consistent batting throughout the years. He was a key player at the top order for CSK since the first season of the IPL and has also captained Gujarat Lions (GL) during the 2016–17 editions.
